Hino trucks are the workhorses of today's society, powered by diesel and delivering the vast majority of goods used in North America. Over the years the North American heavy truck industry has been challenged to develop a clean diesel engine solution to meet the Environmental Protection Agency's new standards for What does SCR have to do with your truck?
SCR stands for Selective Catalytic Reduction, this is an active emissions control technology system used in diesel engines. Basically SCR controls the amount of emission given off by your truck, where a liquid-reduction agent is injected through a special catalyst into the exhaust stream of your truck diesel engine. The liquid reduction is an automotive-grade urea, otherwise known as Diesel Exhaust Fluid DEFthis sets off a chemical reaction that converts nitrogen oxides into nitrogen, water and tiny amounts of carbon dioxide, these natural components of the air are then expelled from your truck, hence saving the environment.
Selective Catalytic Reduction - this technology allows nitrogen oxide reduction reactions to take place in an oxidizing atmosphere. This reduction is set in motion by the DEF the reducing agentwhere the DEF reacts with the nitrogen oxide to convert the pollutants into nitrogen, water and tiny amounts of Carbon Dioxide. DEF in turn can be rapidly broken down to produce the oxidizing ammonia in the exhaust stream.
DEF - Diesel Exhaust Fluid is a non-toxic fluid composed of automotive grade aqueous urea and purified water, it is rigorously tested by the American Petroleum Institute to ensure that it meets industry-wide quality standards. SCR has the ability to deliver excellent fuel efficiency when compared to engines using higher rates of exhaust gas recirculation EGR for Nitrogen Oxide control.
Nitrogen Oxide emissions are controlled in the exhaust through SCR instead of in the combustion process through EGR, diesel engines can be tuned for optimum fuel efficiency - a critical concern with the high prices for diesel fuel.
New EPA Standards - all heavy duty truck engines produced after Jan 1, must reduce particulate matter and nitrogen levels to near zero levels. Give us a call, or click here to send us a message! Aug 6, 2. Could be a number of things NOX sensors could be reading insufficient catalyst conversion efficiency - which could be as simple as replacing the air filter up to requiring the SCR to be replaced.
DEF doser could need service, or some component of the DEF system such as a heater hose could be faulty. Could be a problem with the DPF Maybe try to find another repair shop is about all there is to suggest. WitchingHourAug 6, Aug 6, 3. Did the def gauge works???? CoyoteExpressAug 6, Aug 6, 4. Villarreal's Pablo Fornals had to be taken to hospital after fainting during training and the midfielder will miss Sunday's LaLiga game against Barcelona as a result. Fornals made an "immediate recovery" but remains under observation in hospital, it was confirmed by the club on Saturday.
The 21-year-old is reported to have been suffering from low blood sugar. Denis Cheryshev and Nicola Sansone are also unavailable for the game against the league leaders, while Andres Fernandez remains out with a knee injury. Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane will be without three of his usual starting defenders and his first choice central defensive midfielder against Sevilla.
Casemiro and Dani Carvajal are both unavailable due to yellow card accumulation in the league (5 each). Sergio Ramos picked up a red card last Saturday against Athletic Bilbao and will serve a one-match suspension as punishment. Raphael Varane played Wednesday against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League but was pulled off in the 38th minute after hurting his thigh according to reports.
While the injury isn't expected to be too serious, the French center-back will sit out this match. Southampton right back Cedric Soares has been ruled out for the visit of Arsenal on Sunday. Soares missed the draw at Bournemouth with a hamstring injury, and hasn't recovered in time to face the Gunners at St Mary's.
That will most likely mean Jeremy Pied continuing in the side. Barcelona injury problems appear to be easing with four key men all pictured in training ahead of their clash with Villarreal. Ernesto Valverde welcomed Rafinha back into the fold for the first time since April, with the Brazilian defender having been sidelined with a serious knee problem. Ousmane Dembele also took part in the session as he works his way back from a hamstring injury, with the Frenchman easing into training earlier this week.
The duo were joined by Javier Mascherano, who has also missed a number of matches due to a hamstring problem, and Andres Iniesta after the Spaniard picked up a knock against Sporting Lisbon. Alberto Moreno could be sidelined for up to six weeks with an ankle injury.
The Liverpool left-back will be assessed by a second specialist over the weekend but the fear is the problem, sustained in Wednesday's 7-0 win over Spartak Moscow, could keep him out until the new year. James Milner is likely to fill the vacancy for Sunday's Merseyside derby at home to Everton while captain Jordan Henderson is set to start in midfield after sitting out in midweek. Senegalese international Cheikhou Kouyate will be sidelined for Saturday's EPL match against Chelsea.
The West Ham midfielder injured a hamstring in Sunday's defeat at Manchester City and will also miss next Wednesday's home game against Arsenal. Seattle Sounders midfielder Osvaldo Alonso has been ruled out of this weekend's MLS Cup final after failing a fitness test on Thursday.Prabha2 comments This is one more IELTS Writing task Essay Evaluation question with a model answer attached to it.

During Labelexpo Americas, we witnessed the unveiling of a new generation of entry-level digital production presses that allow converters to move into the digital print space at viable price points.
We also saw companies showcasing digital inkjet retrofit technology, turning conventional flexo presses into hybrid print systems. Looking forward, the digitization of the industry will continue. This trend will persist, however not only at the converter level. We speak with brand owners on both sides of the Atlantic every day and in the research work LPC does with industry associations, we are seeing a small number of consumer packaged goods companies and contract packagers across North America and Europe buy digital presses to vertically integrate some or all of their label printing requirements.
SCR Systems - all you need to know about the SCR System in your Hino Truck
Digital press manufacturers foresee this trend growing in 2017. For label converters, in an increasingly competitive landscape, the core challenge is to constantly find new ways to add value to the products and services they offer. In North America and Europe printed packaging procurement is becoming more centralized. Some of the avenues that used to offer prospecting opportunities are diminishing. However, it would be nice if 2017 would give us a break to get our ducks in a row after the turmoil of 2016.
I see three tendencies: label customization and complexity, environmental sustainability and globalization. As an example, we now see that wine back labels are heavily embellished as opposed to just being a simple info labels. The ecolabels also push the boundaries for accuracy when it comes to color matching and for exploitation of printing techniques, such as hologram printing. As a business, we will continue to advocate these types of security features.
We hope that in 2017, and onwards, we will see the end-user segment accepting the fact that there is a correlation between quality and price. The label business offers numerous solutions that will reduce the environmental footprint of the end-product, which everyone agrees is a positive thing.
But the brand owners are not even willing to pay a nickel premium to support sustainability. Cooperation between the label industry and the consumer segment could have a positive effect on our business. Increased consideration for the environment will attract new generations of label converters who are drawn to clean and idealistic businesses.
We at Nilpeter are bracing ourselves for intensified globalization in 2017 and onwards. The world has become a village. So what does globalization mean to the label industry. With digital print emerging as a major trend in the packaging arena, HP proved it was in front of the curve, with a complete packaging line-up and with the unveiling of a new post-print solution and strategic collaboration with packaging giant Smurfit Kappa.
Alongside this, we have seen an impressive uptake of our existing solutions, with the HP Indigo 20000 and 30000 achieving double-digit sales at drupa and surpassing 100 installations across the globe. As we continue to demonstrate to brand owners and packaging converters how digital printing is adding value, creating new possibilities and transforming the packaging industry, we are confident that we will see continued growth moving into 2017 and beyond.
Our new colleagues within Flint Group are all eager to discover the digital concept, which has blown a lot more wind into the sails to expand on a global scale (US, Latin America, Asia-Pacific) and serve our customers in a better way. Converters around the world still scratch their head at how digital printing workflows can contribute to their business and make them future-proof.
